With just over 24 hours until the KonQa Football Chaos Cup kicks off we look at the contenders from the VCFA-Victorian Churches Football Association:

Mooroolbark Knights: Runners Up in the VCFA Premier League and Winners of the Parry Shield the Knights are an unknown quantity making their first appearance in the tournament. They’ll be looking to be the first VCFA club to advance to the semi-finals.

Whitehorse VCFA: Making their 2nd appearance in the tournament, they narrowly missed the semi-finals in 2015. An 8th placed finish in the Premier League in 2016, they’ll be looking to improve on that with a good showing on Saturday.Last cabs of the rank for the KonQa Football Chaos Cup are the Latrobe Valley Soccer League representatives.

Churchill United Soccer Club: a perennial powerhouse of Gippsland Soccer, the Rams are led by rookie coach Braydon Dunne. After a 4th placed finish in 2016 they’ll be looking to add to their enviable collection of silverware, starting tomorrow.

Monash Soccer Club: under coach Andres Nilo the home team will be looking to improve on last seasons semi-final loss. Boasting a young squad who will hope to emulate their 2015 win.
